Post Match Comment: As much as I would have liked to see Arsenal take 3pts , a draw was acceptable.
Bearing in mind we were playing away , it was Liverpool dropping points and us gaining.
Liverpool started the first ten minutes fast and didn’t let Arsenal settle, to which Arsenal paid the price in conceding a freekick to let inform Gerrard score. But from then on Arsenal took control in the game we all like to see passing the ball about and causing chance after chance , Hleb had a shot just wide, Reina blocked from Emmanuel Adebayor and Rosicky had his attempt cleared off the line.
The second half was again very much the same with Liverpool starting the better and Arsenal continuing where they left off in the first half.
Eboue broke free on the right and shot low but his attempt cannoned off the foot of the post out to Fabregas who should have scored. Liverpool also had a couple more chances from Crouch and Gerrard. Crouch shot wide and Gerrard’s was cleared off the line from Kolo Toure.
Liverpool were tiring all over when Hleb passed to Fabregas to toe poke the ball into the net.
Fabregas could have won the game when he picked up a rebound from a Carrager block to hit the post again.
