Post Match Comment: Arsenal wasn’t their normal selves in this game and were fustrated by the Wigan defence.
Although they were missing Fabregas, Flamini and Hleb, they still managed to be patient in their running , their patients was rewarded late in the second half by a well excuted header from Captain Gallas,who started the move and finished it.
Once Arsenal scored, Wigan had only one option and that was to attack ,big mistake, Arsenal counter attacked with Bendtner who intercepted the ball and slipped it to the approaching Rosicky who shot pass the keeper to make it 2-0.
Only downfall was Theo who was promising in the 1st half was carried off after potato sack Hesky brought him down.
